Brazil native José Auriemo Neto is JHSF Participacoes S.A.’s chairman and CEO. After graduating from Brazil’s Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado University, Neto was hired by JHSF in 1993. Four years later, he created the JHSF service department and Parkbem, a parking lot management company. In 1998 Neto got the rights for JHSF to develop Shopping Santa Cruz, the company’s first shopping destination. Since then he has overseen the company’s interests in hotels, office buildings and public developments. This includes managing projects like the Cidade Jardim shopping complex, the Metrô Tucuruv, the Salvador based Bela Vista as well as Ponta Negra shopping center located in Manaus.
In 2009, José Auriemo Neto helped JHSF to make their first foray into the retail industry. He was able to sign Jimmy Choo, Pucci and Hermes to exclusive partnership agreements and open their first retail outlets in Cidade Jadrim shopping complex, a JHSF owned property. With the help of Neto, JHSF signed Valentino to a partnership agreement in 2012. They then launched Brazil’s first R.E.D. Valentino and Valentino stores.
